Fixed Scope. Documented Benchmarks. Zero Client Management.
If you are a senior developer with TMS integration experience, you already know what bad project engagements look like: scope that expands without budget, clients who change requirements mid-build, payment that depends on someone’s subjective satisfaction, and project management overhead that eats your billable hours.
We built the opposite of that.
What Working With Us Looks Like
Every engagement starts with a human-authored engineering brief that defines exactly what gets built, what TMS it connects to, what data fields are mapped, what accuracy benchmark it is held to, and what the edge cases are. You receive this before you commit to anything.
You do not attend client calls. You do not manage expectations. You do not chase payments. We handle everything outside the build. Your only job is to deliver a staging environment that hits the benchmark.
- Fixed scope, always. The brief is the contract. No mid-build additions without a new engagement.
- Documented accuracy benchmark. 98%+ extraction accuracy, validated before sign-off is requested. You know exactly what “done” means before you start.
- Milestone-based payment. 50% on build start (deposit captured), 50% on staging sign-off. You are never waiting for a client to “feel ready” to pay.
- White-label protection. Your identity is never shared with the client. No LinkedIn connections, no direct contact, no relationship management required.
- 14-business-day SLA. This is your committed delivery window. Builds are scoped to fit it. If a brief cannot be delivered in 14 days, it does not go to build.
What We Build
All builds are freight automation integrations connecting quote-intake workflows to cloud-native TMS platforms via API. The three core build types:
- Lead Engine (Tier 1): Email monitoring + PDF/plain-text parsing + TMS sync. Up to 3 carrier formats. Rose Rocket, Turvo, or Aljex.
- Core Engine (Tier 2): Multi-source intake + normalization layer + deduplication + structured error handling. Up to 8 carrier formats.
- Enterprise Sync (Tier 3): High-volume multi-source intake + business rule engine + bidirectional TMS sync + exception queue. McLeod PowerBroker eligible.
Primary stack: Rose Rocket, Turvo, Descartes Aljex, McLeod PowerBroker. Parsing layer: Parsli, DigiParser, headless browser automation, AI-assisted extraction as appropriate. Orchestration: n8n or equivalent.
What You Are Paid
Payment is split 50/50 against the build milestones, funded from the client deposit and final payment. Rates are brief-specific and confirmed before you accept the engagement. Typical ranges:
- Tier 1 build: $1,200–$1,800 total
- Tier 2 build: $2,200–$3,000 total
- Tier 3 build: $3,400–$4,800 total
First 50% is released to you when the client deposit is captured — before you write a line of code, you have money in hand. Second 50% is released on staging sign-off. We do not hold payment pending client mood. Sign-off is triggered by a documented accuracy validation, not a subjective review.
Quality Standards
Every build is validated against a 98%+ data extraction accuracy benchmark before staging sign-off is requested. You are responsible for documenting your validation: sample set sizes, field-by-field extraction rates, and edge case handling. This documentation goes to the client as part of the staging delivery package.
If the benchmark is not met on first delivery, you fix it before sign-off is requested. There is no scope for “good enough” on accuracy. The benchmark exists because our client’s operation depends on it.
Beyond accuracy: clean code, inline comments, environment variables for all credentials, and a brief deployment guide are standard deliverables on every build. You own your code quality. We back it with a contractual guarantee to the client.
Who We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of API integration experience, ideally with TMS platforms or freight/logistics systems
- Demonstrated experience with structured and unstructured data parsing (PDFs, emails, web forms)
- Comfortable with n8n, Make, or equivalent orchestration tooling
- Able to work asynchronously and deliver to a fixed timeline without daily check-ins
- Based anywhere — all work is remote and async
- Willing to sign a white-label NDA before receiving any client brief
Experience with Rose Rocket, Turvo, Descartes Aljex, or McLeod PowerBroker APIs is a strong advantage. Experience with Parsli or DigiParser is a plus. Headless browser automation experience (Puppeteer, Playwright) is useful for Tier 3 builds.
How the Engagement Works
- Apply: Complete the application form below. Tell us your stack, your availability, and your TMS experience.
- Review: We review within 2 business days. If there is a fit, we send the NDA for signature.
- NDA signed: You are added to the active developer network. No obligation until you accept a brief.
- Brief received: When a build matches your stack, you receive the full engineering brief. You review it and confirm acceptance within 24 hours.
- Build begins: Client deposit captured. Your first 50% released. 14-business-day clock starts.
- Staging delivery: You deliver to staging, document accuracy validation, submit for sign-off.
- Sign-off and payment: Client approves staging. Final 50% released to you within 24 hours.
